Equipment Needs
Each team is responsible for providing its own catching gear, gloves, bats, practice balls, helmets, etc. Balls are only provided for games and within the batting cage. Balls for practice are not available.
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex has a continued partnership with Worth® Sports and The Jugs Company. We will not only provide scheduled use of the four batting tunnels equipped with new Jugs pitching machines and balls, but we will also have other Jugs offensive practice equipment on-hand. In addition, we will provide Worth® Sports game balls, and water fountains, which are located in each dugout.
Upon check-in at your resort, all Guests will receive their Theme Park Tickets. Those Guests who purchased spectator packages will receive their length of event passes to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
Event registration will be conducted at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for the length of their stay. Location and time will be included on each team's individual schedule.

ONLINE REGISTRATION AND SCHEDULING SYSTEM
All teams will register through our online registration and scheduling system, gotsport.com. Teams will need to enter a username and password to begin the application process. Returning teams may use the same username and password selected in the previous year which will include some information from past application, i.e. contact information and roster. If you are registering multiple teams for your school, please note that each team will need to have a separate ID and Password.
Accepted teams will be able to access this system throughout the process by signing in at gotsport.com

The Sport Managers will do their best to accommodate each team's special needs. Requests are not guaranteed. Please contact a member of the Disney Softball Sales team at 407-938-3801 for any questions.
You may add or take off players from your roster/rooming list. All changes require a phone call to your sports travel representative by calling 407-939-7810 option #3.
However, every player must complete a Sports Waiver Form prior to arrival (minors must have a parent or legal guardian's signature) and purchase a package.

FIELD OPERATIONS GUIDELINES
CREDENTIALS
Credentials are tickets for athletes and coaches to gain access to the complex. These will be distributed at registration. Coaches may pick up credentials for the entire team by providing the proper documents for verification. To receive a credential, each team must have already paid their Spring Training Entry Fee, purchased their participant Spring Training packages and completed a Sports Waiver form. To minimize your process time at registration, all waivers are due 30 days prior to your arrival. If this information is not received in advance, please allow 30- 45 minutes to register before receiving your credentials. Credentials are nontransferable. If your credential is lost or stolen, it will be necessary to pay a replacement fee.
ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL COACHES
It is imperative that you know your state regulations prior to filling out your schedule request activities. Each school is responsible for abiding by their state high school athletic associations' rules, guidelines, and/or policies (i.e. no games before a certain date, limit on the number of games per day, no official games allowed, etc.).
ATTENTION COLLEGE COACHES
College games will be played according to NCAA rules!

Please make sure to make copies of all waivers before submitting, and bring them to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on the day of Team Registration. Do not mail or fax in advance
Featuring six full-size fields, the Softball Diamondplex offers the finest training and playing conditions available. Large dugouts have helmet/equipment shelves, and two enclosed bullpens per field have a direct phone connection to the scorer's tower. We also offer three batting tunnels equipped with pitching machine and balls, as well as the latest practice equipment from The Jugs Company.
All competitors need to arrive at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex ready to compete. There are NO shower & locker room facilities available. Please plan accordingly on your departure day activities, as hotels require an 11 AM checkout.
All spectators are required to purchase admission into EPSN Wide World of Sports Complex for either an individual daily admission or a length-of-event (LOE) pass that is valid for all days of the team's stay. LOE and daily admission tickets are non-refundable/non-exchangeable, regardless of number of days your team competes. Spectators purchasing the travel package will have a Length-Of-Event (LOE) ticket included in the package. Spectators can purchase their packages through Disney Sports Travel by calling 407-939-7810 option #3.

Spectators traveling with your team can take advantage of the same specially-priced hotel and theme park ticket packages that are available for players and coaches. Your Disney Sports Travel agent can also assist with ticket upgrades, additional room nights, vehicle rentals, and airfare options. Transportation is provided if you are staying at Disney's All Star Sports Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.
Teams who are not staying at Disney's All Star Sports Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will need to arrange their own transportation.
Meal certificates are now available for purchase!
Ask your Group Reservation Agent how you can purchase breakfast, lunch and/or dinner certificates for your team in addition to your Disney Spring Training travel package. These new options are a great way to ensure your team meals are quick and easy!
Breakfast meal voucher - $9.75* per person per meal
Lunch/Dinner meal voucher - $15.50* per person per meal

Breakfast includes a choice of ONE (1) non-alcoholic beverage and ONE (1) breakfast platter or bakery item/side dish. Lunch or Dinner includes a choice of ONE (1) of the following: One (1) combo meal (entrée, side dish and single serving non-alcoholic beverage) and one (1) dessert OR One (1) entrée, one (1) side dish (if not included in entrée), one (1) dessert and one (1) single-serving non-alcoholic beverage at participating locations.
Meal Certificates can be used at select Quick-Service Dining Locations throughout the Walt Disney World® Resort including Disney's All-Star Sports Resort – End Zone Food Court, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort – Old Port Royale Food Court, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex Concession Stands and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill.

Ordering Boxed Meals
Teams attending Disney's 2013 Spring Training have the option to place catering orders in advance of their trip for quick, easy and well balanced boxed meals, bulk beverages, and/or snacks. The convenience of having your meals planned in advance will save on time and stress. Fill it out, fax it back, and complete your planning to ensure happy, healthy, well fed athletes during your competition.
Please send your completed boxed meal order at least 2 business days prior to the event date attention. Deliveries for Saturday, Sunday or Monday must be received by 3pm on Friday. Fax orders to 407-939-4896 or via E-Mail to wdw.ewwsboxedmeals@disney.com.

In order to participate in Disney's Spring Training all players and coaches are required to purchase the minimum Spring Training hotel and theme park ticket package.

Bus transportation is included when you stay at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. When you stay in either of these Disney resorts, two great programs will cover all of your Spring Training transportation needs. Disney's Magical Express will get you from Orlando International Airport to your Disney resort and back, and our Spring Training buses will get you from the hotel to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and back each day. Ask your Sotball Sales Manager for more details on how to take advantage of these new services.
Once you submit your team's registration and team entry fee, your information will be forwarded to a Disney Sports Travel Agent who will contact you within 48 hours to verify your requests and begin the booking process. A package deposit of $200.00 per room is due 14 days after initial booking. All submissions in the GotSport.com team profile are requests only until verified by your Disney Sports Travel Agent.

Athletic trainers will be available for pre/post treatment. Taping is free if athletes bring their own tape and pre-wrap. Athletes that did not bring their own taping kit and are seeking preventative taping may purchase a taping kit (one roll each of pre-wrap and tape) for $3.00 at D-Sports between the hours of 10am-5pm. The receipt is taken to the Trainer to receive the kit and to be taped. After hours please bring exact change directly to the Athletic Trainer to receive your kit. Additional rolls of tape may be purchased for $1.50. There is no fee for taping related to injuries sustained during competition, IF the injury has been evaluated and logged at the time it occurred by the Athletic Trainer.
At all off-site venues, preventative taping may not always be available. However, there will always be medical staff available for wound and emergency care.
Teams who are not staying at Disney's All Star Sports Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will need to arrange their own transportation.
